MORE THAN A BOTTLE OF GIN
This collaboration started with two family distilleries and a shared appreciation for the people who helped shape us.
Founded by fathers and now carried forward by the next generation, HM Gin and Bakery Hill Distillery wanted to create something that celebrated great male role models, connection and community.
So, alongside creating a bloody delicious limited-edition gin, we set ourselves a bigger challenge:
To raise $8,000 for men’s health.
With $40 from every bottle sold being donated to The Male Hug and The Man Cave, every purchase helps support organisations creating connection, conversation and better outcomes for men and young men.
Our goal is simple: sell enough bottles to raise $8,000 and make this release about something bigger than gin.
TASTING NOTES
A clear and deep amber appearance reflecting the contributions of both the local Victorian honey and time spent maturing in Bakery Hill casks.
On the nose a rich and harmonious combination of spices, sweetness and smoky peated whisky.
On the palate it has a myriad of flavours spanning the initial sweetness of the honey quickly followed with a mix of chai spices. The finish is smooth, long and packed with the smokiness of the peated whisky casks that lingers long after you’ve taken that last sip.
The balance, intensity and complexity of flavour, coupled with the smooth long finish makes this a gin that will be a standout in any collection. Recommended served neat or with a small piece of ice.

Amy here, one of the co-founders of HM Gin. We chose peated malt casks for the depth of flavour they brought to our already delicious Seven Spice Chai Gin — classic whisky casks just didn’t give us the intensity we were after.
If you love peated whisky, love our chai, or you’re a collector, this is one you’ll want to experience for yourself.
This gin carries a higher price tag than our others, and I want to be upfront about why. It was matured for 6 months in genuine Bakery Hill peated casks, and we made the conscious decision to use this release to raise real funds for men’s mental health.
