What is the difference between gin and pink gin?
The classic pink gin consisted of a few drops of Angostura bitters in a glass of gin. This originated as a 19th century cure for sea sickness on navy ships. The unintended effect was the creation of a beautiful pink coloured gin cocktail. Nowadays we have expanded the offering of pink gins to contain a multitude of fruit flavours and pink hues.
