What can we say about a Southside gin cocktail recipe. A Southside is deliciously sweet but also a sour cocktail. Made with a combination of gin, lime, mint and if you’re up for some Angostura Bitters. Originally created during the prohibition era however there are mixed reports where and who actually created this delicious cocktail. #Enjoythemoment

Southside recipe Ingredients

60ml HM No 4 The Twist Gin
30ml Fresh lime juice
22ml Sugar syrup
8-10 Fresh mint leaves
Optional 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Mint leaf for garnish

Preparation

1. To a cocktail shaker with ice add all your ingredients and shake for up to 20 seconds.
2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, try a double strain if you get any mint leaves the first time.
3. Garnish with mint leaf.
